Tuesday I shared this article with Dr. Kate. It was Dr, Kate who was the one who broke the story on her blog. Although I did not intend for it to go out. I simply wanted Dr. Kate’s thoughts on what she thought of it, but I did not tell her that expressly in my email. I definitely did not intend for it to go viral. On June 28, 2009 I received a request from Mario Apuzzo one of the lawyers involved in the eligibility cases before the courts, which contained an email that had a link from the Kenyan Daily dated June 27, 2004. (Seems strange that it was five years and one day later that this all came to light.) On this page was a story titled as can be seen below.

On a hunch I then went to the way Back Machine and plugged in the URL from the East Africa Standard. Which is found here at the direct URL. After getting a positive hit I went to their mirror site at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, and again I entered the original URL. Again I go a positive hit, which is here at the direct URL.
I made time stamped PDF’s, along with screen shots and promptly emailed them to a few trusted people with email accounts that I knew were backed up in the event the actual date was disputed. The original PDF’s are now located here for the San Francisco archive and here for the Cairo archive. There was nothing I could do if they were scrubbed except make a video, which is embedded here.

The point is I don’t want any credit for this, I am not trying to push myself or the Birthers.org. There are many good sites out there that all share a common value, which is restoring our constitutional republic.
